As do floor-to-ceiling windows that make sure nothing gets in the way. Even more convenience and comfort come standard, like a huge balcony made for stretching out, a tub that’s great for doing the same, a convenient walk-in dressing area, plus VIP check-in. Aft-View Extended Balcony staterooms feature a larger balcony for more lounge-around room, more kick-back space; not to even mention some of the best stern-side views you'll find anywhere. Get ready to relax as you gaze upon Carnival Paradise's gentle wake from your spacious balcony.

Carnival Freedom – 2007

That’s what’s going on at The Shores™, a new zone aboard Carnival Jubilee! Beaches, boardwalks and piers were just a little of what inspired us to create this zone that serves up just the right flavors and feels. For starters, Coastal Slice™ is the hotspot for fresh pizza that can only be topped… by delicious toppings. Marina Bar™ is an indoor/outdoor spot where the drinks are only part of the refreshment story — there’s also some great lounging to do! And if we catch you feasting your eyes on our Beach Buns™, c’mon, who can blame you?

All Carnival Cruise Ships By Age: Newest to Oldest

Each of the line's earlier Conquest-class ships have around 50 suites. The oldest Fantasy-class vessels have 28 suites and 26 junior suites. The Carnival Paradise became just one of the two last Fantasy-class ships after Carnival Ecstasy left the fleet in the fall of 2022.

Carnival Jubilee™ plays host to a lineup of shows like Soulbound and its spooky, atmospheric R&B and Visual Symphony, with innovative LED walls and special effects three decks high. Let’s see what else… debuting right here there’s Dear Future Husband, an interactive pop-wedding adventure. When Carnival Ecstasy departed the fleet in October 2022, Carnival Elation became the oldest ship in the fleet. She is 71,909 gross tons and has a passenger capacity of 2,190 at double occupancy. The Carnival cruise ship has a gross tonnage of 88,500 and a guest capacity of 2,124 at double occupancy, along with 930 crew members. She cost $375 million to construct at the then-named Kvaerner-Masa yards in Helsinki, Finland.

STATEROOM DESIGN

There's room for you and your things — with a large room and balcony — and a walk-in closet. The soothing in-room whirlpool tub will help you stay relaxed after your relaxing spa treatment. And like all suites, a Cloud 9 Spa Suite features VIP check-in, which lets you easily get right up to your amazing stateroom.

Former Carnival Cruise Ships

Meet Carnival Jubilee™

There's plenty to find atop this ship, where you can spend your days being kissed by the warm rays of the sun. Visit the biggest Serenity area ever, featuring three decks, plenty of recliners... Carnival WaterWorks™, our onboard waterpark, doesn't just deliver the favorites... Your Scenic Ocean View stateroom aboard Carnival Freedom provides the best view of the sea that lies ahead of the ship, with views unlike any on land. And you'll get more of them, too, with floor-to-ceiling windows providing plenty of looking-glass for gazing at the natural wonders of the sea...

Carnival Panorama is currently the fleet’s only ship with a Sky Zone, Trampoline Park. The vessel is 183,521 gross tons with a guest capacity of 5,372 at double occupancy, along with 1,735 crew members. Carnival Celebration is based in Miami, Florida, and also takes the name of a previous Carnival cruise ship, Celebration, that was part of the holiday class. This one’s a great outdoor spot, located in the Summer Landing zone.

Your Scenic Ocean View stateroom aboard Carnival Paradise provides the best view of the sea that lies ahead of the ship, with views unlike any on land. Slightly smaller are a dozen 710-square-foot Excel Corner Suites offering separate sleeping and lounging areas and wraparound balconies. A step down are six smaller Excel Suites that measure 614 square feet.

Other upgraded amenities for Excel suite passengers include complimentary Bottomless Bubbles soda packages, room service and laundry service, sparkling wine upon arrival and upgraded bathroom toiletries. Balcony cabins are what everyone wants these days, and Carnival is building its newest ships with far more of them than in the past. As noted above, about 44% of the cabins Carnival Panorama are balcony cabins. But that percentage jumped to 56% on the newer Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration. It will be the same on Carnival Jubilee, a sister vessel to Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration coming out in December 2023.

As it happens, this is also where you’ll find another new-to-Carnival concept, the Brass Magnolia bar. Each of our ships is a unique experience — check the features and find out which ship is right for you. The final Fantasy class cruise ship ever created, Carnival Paradise is proof that there's plenty of fun to be found long before you reach your dream destination. Still, some of that has begun to change with the debut of Carnival's new Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration. Carnival went big with the suites on the groundbreaking, 5,282-passenger vessels — the biggest Carnival ships ever. Note that on some Carnival ships, specific categories of balcony cabins have larger balconies than most.

With an oceanview cabin, you get a window looking out to the sea but not an attached balcony where you can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Here’s the most affordable way to experience Carnival Jubilee™, without cutting even a single corner in the comfort department. The benefits don’t end there — your little girls and boys eat free in most onboard specialty restaurants and get a free evening of Night Owls babysitting service, so you can enjoy a little alone time.

And for military folks — or folks who just want to raise a glass to them — please report to Heroes Tribute™ Lounge for great service. We know you guys like soft serve too, so we're throwing in a Swirls™ location — one of two! With more space for stretching out indoors, plus a large balcony for kicking back outdoors, try an Ocean Suite to experience private, luxurious relaxation. Ocean Suites also include VIP check-in, walk-in closet and bathroom with whirlpool tub. Fun-focused Carnival offers a solid mix of cabins on its vessels for a range of price points.

This class allows guest sailings in other regions such as Panama, Alaska and even Northern Europe. The Carnival Spirit has also been mainly based in Australia in recent years. Carnival Pride is the second ship in the Spirit-class and was once the Carnival flagship when she made her debut in January 2002. The ship is 88,500 gross tons, the perfect size and design to transit the Panama Canal and sail in harsher continents.
